Stand start with a right hand low on the arête and a small left-hand crimp/undercling. Climb out the roof on incuts. Awesome tension climbing. David Graham did the first ascent in about an hour, suggesting V10 or V11. Now con- sidered hard for V12. This has been incorrectly referred to as “Freak of Nature.”
Paying my dues in the park. Best of lower and always one which seemed inspiring and imposing in style. Happy to be gaining more confidence on crimps and looking forward to continuing the progression in the style.
Done the steezy way—first tizzle from the bizzle on my second session.
I ended up using the DG method. The grips are decent but they felt painfully sharp to me… maybe I’m just a wuss? Also somehow almost fell off the top out lol.
toes first for the tall folks... such a fun power bloc! Sent right as the rain came dumping, as per usual, and almost fell off the wet quartz topout... four goes. edit: my 100th 8A or harder :-)
