Start the featured arete from a good horizontal hold at roughly head height. Move up and right using a small crimp. Safer than Davy Jones but that landing could use some work.
Tried this years ago and thought it might be harder than Davy Jones but turns out its way easier and WAAAAAY safer. You get the same cool starting holds but instead of moving left into the terrifying lurch you utilize a sharp crimp to move right around the corner, reach out to a good hold which lets you safely step up to the sharp lip of the ship shaped boulder. It's not as cool as Davy Jones but the fact its actually safer is huge.
