Low start to Lesson Six, originally one of the hardest undone lines in the Grand Wall. Sadly the lower holds were heavily altered by someone unknown, leaving the project tainted for years. The project was later resurrected, and regardless of the modifications, has proven to be a quality line and great addition to the forest.
Getting it done so fast this season feels like a test of all I’ve been learning lately. Cool to see my mindset and technical gains help me execute. Had to really fight the pump on the go!
As for the grade, it could be v15, but after spraying my thigh and kneepad with mueller pre tape spray adhesive, the kneebar felt so bomb. Don’t know if I could take the higher grade knowing how much easier the crux is with those tactics. If only the holds didn’t get chipped, and the black dyke didn’t collapse. This line could’ve been one of the best ever, but sometimes you must enjoy things for what they are.
