Stand start split between a left hand sidepull on the arete and a right hand sidepull/undercling in the seam on the face. Squeeze your way through slopers along the face and arete to then top out up right.
So psyched. Been on the list for a long time. Felt so good to finally stand on top.
Update- been giving this one some thought// I think when I did this boulder it was really my style and I had gotten very used to the draggy slopes that it felt easy. After climbing on other proposed v14s and getting back on Squoze post send it definitely feels harder. Really difficult to tell.
So nice I did it twice. Actually I dabbed a little bit on the first send, so I redid it, but regardless, it is quite nice. Really good movement and the rock is incredible.
Jimmy joked that it feels like southern 8B, but honestly I have done harder 8Bs in the south. Of course the grades on all those 8Bs are likely just wrong. 8B+ feels spot on to me, but with every boulder I do I learn that grade and difficulty are not the same.
