Start sitting, left hand on a poor sloper, right hand on the arete. Climb the tricky and technical prow. First climbed from a low start, which begins down and left, matched on a terrible sloping edge (adds a grade).
Crux for me was getting those left heels to stick, especially because it was pretty warm and those slopers felt pretty greasy. Once I found the body position to articulate tension, didn’t feel too bad.

So close to my first V8 flash, fell on the bump from decent left sloper to the higher better one. Everyone all day saying this is a hard 8 and it’s easier than 8=D for me. So good though top 3 V8s ive ever done
