Despite a monster approach, this multi-pitch adventure route attracts a huge following. The climbing is good (but never great) with the bird's eye view of the entire park the lion's share of the charm. Spacious belay ledges, and an easy retreat after every pitch gives it a more casual vibe than most long routes. Pitch 1: (5.7) 6 bolts. Start left of a juniper tree, and wander up a slab of so-so rock. Pitch 2: (5.6) 4 bolts. Step left and follow a simple ramp to a short trad corner ending at an a good ledge. Pitch 3: (5.7) Walk left to a brief fist crack, and race up a bolted slab to another spacious ledge. Pitch 4: (5.7) The best pitch on the route jams and stems a tight inside corner. Pitch 5: (5.7) Walk uphill to an unexposed boulder problem, and scramble to the summit along a simple ridge. After a short rap off the backside, surf scree back to the base.
