The crown jewel of Koala Rock has long been this three pitch route to the top of the formation. Unfortunately, an enormous flake randomly fell off the first pitch, leaving dirty stone behind, and completely eliminating a variant (R.I.P. Changing Lanes). Still, the entire route is worth doing, and it'll only improve with more ascents. 1. (5.9) Finger jams and perfect edges lead past a patch of dirty gray rock to an easier, hand jam finish. 2. (5.10a) Delicate moves past a bulge gives way to a solid slab. 3.(5.10a) Clear a crux bulge directly over the anchor, and follow a slab past a couple bulges to the top. Descend the backside.
