The upper left flank of Picnic Lunch Wall offers an immensely popular route in a magnificent setting. The opening pitches aren't special, but the finishing headwall reigns supreme. Pitch 1: (5.8) 9 bolts. Scamper up a steepening slab, merging into a finishing crack leading to an anchor on the ridge crest. Pitch 2: (5.6) Step right and continue past a couple bolts on to a higher belay shelf. You can easily link the first two pitches into one with a little rope drag. Pitch 3: (5.9) Ascend the ethereal slab on positive edges past spaced bolts before trending right over a finishing bulge, with all of Picnic Lunch Wall below you.
