Wow. Just WOW. An incredible line and perhaps GB's greatest highball. Start on the flat jug shelf at the lowest ground level. Climb easy intro moves through more shelves then a tricky sequence up the steeper face with a fractured pinch and seam crimps to gain the arete. Exposed and technical arete moves lead you higher and higher till you can reach the lip and make a few easy but highly committing moves along the lip leftward to top out at the absolute apex of this giant boulder. Legendary WA hardman Johnny Goicoechea pioneered the first ascent after a winter storm knocked a few nearby trees down to create a 'nest' with which to have a vital secondary level of pads at the boulders halfway point. Kyle O'Meara and Drew Schick made quick repeats with the relative safety of the nest intact. As the structural integrity of the nest has deteriorated over the years the amount of activity this line has seen has vanished and made an already intimidating line seem nearly impossible without the use of ropes.
