Carver is known for its lowball bouldering from v0-v12. With high density, close proximity to Portland and easy approaches it's the best and most popular area to boulder around Portland.

Carver is on PRIVATE PROPERTY. In order to climb here, you must be a member of the Carver Climbing Club and adhere to all of the rules that ensure access remains open.

Climbers parking is the small rectangular lot in the back middle next to the woods. After 5pm climbers must park at the baker cabin historical site and walk in (5-10 minutes). Carver is on PRIVATE PROPERTY, Climbers must be at least 18, a member of the Carver climbing club and pay a new annual fee of $25. No alcohol or marijuana use permitted, dogs are not allowed and do not leave trash, (yours or others). Wire brushes are forbidden and scratch the soft basalt, clean moss only with nylon brushes and bores hair. Brush tick marks and do not use excessive chalk to dry the boulders, if its wet use a towel, airflow, and give it some time.
