Centralized access point to all trails that start at the Sawtooth Parking. This includes Timber Gap, Timber Paradise Ridge, Monarch Lakes, Sawtooth and Crystal lakes. Monarch Lake is one of the first areas that was developed in Mineral King and is home to the classic V5 The Monarch. This trailhead can take you all the way to Sawtooth Peak which is an icon of the area an merits a summit.

Follow the official trail to the appropriate sub area. Approaches for this are all long, but since they are official trails they are well maintained and the going is easy.
