Walk the established trail on the left side of the creek. Take the trail for approximately 10-15 minutes as it weaves along the creek, up a hill away from the creek. As of now, you can look for a change in the flagging tape colors from pink to orange. When that happens, take a hard right on a semi-broken in trail (kinda), back down to the creek. When that happens, take a hard right on a semi-broken in trail (kinda), back down to the creek. Cross at the obvious crossing point and walk straight with no trail for approximately 5 minutes until you hit a Ridgeline.
