High quality target! Haha. I felt really good on this one. Climbed really smooth and precise. Got a little mixed up on the toe hook, but quickly recovered and stuck everything else perfectly. The final left hand move was so satisfying! I touched the hold and just stopped. Full control. What a feeling! Crazy to think when I got to the boulder it was in full sun on an already warm day. It slowly went into the shade while I bided my time working the moves and making some links as the temps cooled, then lucked out by firing a few minutes before sunset. IMO, it’s not as hard as some others have made it sound, but it’s definitely a solid 9 and not easy.
Harder than most everything here up to 11 or 12. I did Booka in less days. Style + size on this one makes it very hard. Personal grade for sure but still-harder by a lot than any of the other 9s, if this is V9 then Gription is ~V6/7. Hardest on the Boulder for sure.
