Eric Zschiesche established this line ground-up without pads and even repeated it barefoot. Start on the jug at eye level, directly below the dihedral. Move up to the sidepull-feature, then continue straight up the face to the dihedral. The crux is the face moves, though one might be temped to grab the sapling for the topout. For extra style points, don’t do it.
