Moore's Wall is a rope climbing and bouldering area located in central North Carolina, 45 minutes North of Winston-Salem. The Bouldering lies below approximately one mile of cliff band as well as a seperate area called Two Mile which lies below an exposed rock ridge. The Carolina Climbers Coalition has been critical to securing and preserving access to Moore's Wall through access work with NC State Parks. This work has included climbing policy with the State Park, building and then expanding the parking lot, rare species impact mitigation, trail work, and more. - No unauthorized trail building
- No unauthorized landing building
- Fill out a state park waiver for every climber in your party, every time you climb
- ALWAYS be back BEFORE the posted park closure time.
Parking: If you show up at Moore's and the parking area is full, please do not park horizontal to the lot, either go to Tory's Den parking and hike back up 0.5 miles to the main lot, drive 15 minutes to the lake parking to enjoy Two-Mile and Circus Roof areas, or consider another one of the piedmont regions wonderful boulderfields. Please be curteous to other climbers and try to park no more than 3 feet apart from other cars, filling in the lot from the closest spot to furthest and leaving no odd spaces.
- Do not climb on wet rock.
- Brush your Ticks.
- Use boars hair brushes when cleaning holds (not too densely packed). Avoid using wire brushes on established routes.
- Do not use a torch to dry wet rock.
- Stay on established paths.
- Keep your dog on a leash.

There are several ways to approach Moore's. These Directions will take you to the intersection of Mickey Rd. & Charlie Young Rd. From Here, choose your parking area based on which area you're climbing at.
Trailside, Main, Valley, North End, and Howies Roof can all be reached from the Main Climbers Parking Lot, if this lot is full, park at the Tory's Den Trail Parking 0.75Mi. downhill or change plans and drive on over to Lake Parking and enjoy all that Circus Roof and Two Mile areas have to offer.
