Start with your left hand on the undercling/sidepull and your right hand on the sloper. Deadpoint out left and traverse through the horizontal crack before a long throw to the crimp just below the lip, then top out. The first ascent and original start for this problem was on the undercling/sidepull, and a small crimper left of the sloper. When this climb was rediscovered in 2012 it was done starting on the sloper which is arguably a better climb, but if you want to do the original Gallows it can still be done.
