Classic for a reason! It's a quintessential gritstone arete. Stand start with a decent hold on the arête, and make use of a unique ripple feature on the face. Stand up to desperately hit an edge below the lip, where many blow the send!
This was known to me as “Twist Dah Hick” for a long time until I came back this season. I first tried this either 14 or 15 years ago on my first ever climbing trip. Very thankful to be able to have the time to come back and experience it full circle.
