A beautiful swooping wall with golden rock and a rad wide pinch feature embedded in the crack system. Stand start matched on the vertical right facing jug. Climb straight up following the crack through technical compression and tension moves as the wall steepens to an airy redpoint crux before jugs at the lip.
One of the most exciting experiences I've had on rock in a long time. As I pulled into the crux before the lip the pump hit, I snapped out of my blackout and it was a gripping moment of full commitment. So grateful for Jer, Tristan and Paul who supported me that day in the blustering snow flurries. We cracked some brews and enjoyed the view of the Milks afterwards, it was a good day.
2 years ago I found a line I was excited to clean this year; however, after revisiting it I realized the rock in the Milks is very particular and decided to call it quits and moved on. As I continued hiking I spotted this wall from across the valley, it's red gold color and swooping wave shape stood out sitting above the hillside. When I stood beneath it I saw the crack system with an amazing wide pinch embedded in the stone. I immediately set up a rapel to inspect the line. Good rock, rad holds, exciting height, beautiful position. One of the best lines I've had the privilege of experiencing.
