The east slope of Rubidoux consists of a few scattered boulders and one sizeable cluster, the Accomazzo boulders, named after the Stone Master. Rick Accomazzo, John Long, and other original Stone Masters frequented Rubidoux to explore and expand the practice of bouldering in the early 70s.

At the first fork along the main trail (about .3 miles in) a dirt path will lead you uphill to the few scattered boulders. Generally, hiking to the top and dropping in to an area is more casual.
