Evil Backwards is home to some of the best bouldering at Lincoln Lake. There area number of world class test pieces here, as well as classic problems of more moderate grades. This is one of the easiest areas to navigate at Lincoln Lake once the approach is complete, making it a popular spot to spend a day. The problems here are difficult, and the approach follows a very faint trail down the insanely steep hill side that forms the eastern boundary of the area.

There is a faint climbers trail here but it can be hard to follow in places. Continue angling across the hillside, following the path of least resistance. The Evil Backwards cave faces away from Lincoln Lake.
