You can reach Kelowna by either air or road. If traveling by road, the drive from Vancouver takes about 4.5 hours, following Highways #1, #5, and #97C. From Calgary, the journey is approximately 7 hours, following Highways #1, #97A, and #97. For those coming from the US, you can either travel to Vancouver or Calgary and continue from there, or cross into British Columbia from Washington at the Oroville-Osoyoos border and head north on Highway #97 for about 2 hours. For air travel, direct flights to Kelowna are available from major cities such as Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Seattle. The airport, located at the north end of Kelowna, is about a 30-minute drive from downtown.
