From the Rock Springs Trailhead parking, drive up Ridgecrest Blvd. for 1.9 miles. Park in a paved pullout on the left or the right. From the north side of the road, follow Lake View Trail uphill for 700 feet until you arrive at the Trailside Boulder. The majority of the area is downhill from here, although the Spirits Wall lies farther to the east.
