After your exciting ten minute tram ride you arrive at the Mountin Station. At an altitude of 8,500, you are treated to cool mountain air and the temperatures are 30 to 40 degrees cooler than Palm Springs! This is the main trail to Round Valley. The first subarea you encounter is the Ranger Station Boulders and several north facing canyons are accessed from this trail such as Flash Gordon, Trailside Boulders and Kung Fu Canyons and the Hillside Boulders.
