Nearly all of Ogden Bouldering is comprised of super clean white tintic Qurtzite. This 300 million year old glass like stone has been well cemented and stained with patina containing striking reds, oranges, yellows. The quartzite is well featured and often times very steep, this makes for virtually every decent sized boulder a great candidate. The highly featured rock makes for all kinds crazy link-ups, thus creating a great training ground for fitness.

How to get to the Ogden Boulder Field, if coming from the North or the South, I-15 is the most direct way, take either the Ogden 12th st. exit or the 21st. exit. Head East to the East bench until reaching Harrison Blvd. From Harrison Blvd go East on either 22nd st or 27th st. One can either Park at the Indian trail head at the top of 22nd st, or one may park at the top of 27th st. The boulders can be accessed by either parking area, the 22nd st Parking has much more room if 27th st is full.
