While more known for its top-roping, the Virginia side houses a few worthy boulders. You could make a good day out of trying the challenging routes at Romeo's Ladder alongside "Romeo's Reach" V4, or simply warm up at Brolands before roping up. Skye v5
Sweaty summer conditions, sixth day on, woefully under geared with only a blubber pad, muddy landing zone so I had to wear one shoe & dirty rock that is underwater half the time. This boulder encapsulates everything ai love about climbing, so I’ll slap my name on this choss bomb. Skye is my name by birth and I leave a part of me here on these shores of Great Falls. My last words before the send were “This is pure suffering” and I felt that deep within my soul.
