Bates Problem v5

Bates Problem v5

3.4
(75)
Start on right-facing edges at 7 feet. Climb the face left of the tree and pop out left to the arete. A variation, Bates Eliminate, avoids the arete to climb straight up parallel to the tree and is a grade harder.

Sorry for the beta break and unconsciously touching the rock with my left hand before establishing the start. I swear I didn’t pull with it 🤧
