A large limestone rock slide at the base of Mount Yamnuska. The slide is quite old and many sections of the boulders have sharp eroded topout and a fair selection of loose and chossy rock. However, there are some quality lines to climb with solid rock. The boulders on the Eastern edge tend to be partially in the trees while the further West boulders are more open in the talus.

From the Yamnuska Day Use parking area, follow the wide gravel hiking trail West. After a couple hundred meters, turn left on a smaller offshoot trail (signed). This trail turns right (West) and follows... Show more

This trail turns right (West) and follows an old cutline. Follow the trail along the cutline, heading straight through any junctions. Eventually, the trail gains some slight elevation and turns right again and passes some small boulders until you come to the first boulder, the Fairy Boulder.
