A talus field featuring some of the best boulders in the Valley, challenging landings and enough hard projects to keep the strongest boulderers coming back. All of this is in a beautiful setting right next to the lake, which is perfect for a post-session dip!
It dries fast and gets morning/afternoon sun, so it is a great spot in the spring and fall when other areas may still be seeping.
Cell service is limited.

The road is an active logging road so be mindful while driving up and down it! While there are several ways to get across the Fraser River to Highway 7, which will take you to Elbow Lake, here I will describe two of the simpler ones and hope that it is enough for the few people who choose to follow these directions rather than the GPS. From Hope: Take Highway 1 westbound and take exit 135 onto Highway 9 towards Agassiz. Follow that straight for about 6.5km where you will turn left onto the Agassiz Rosedale Hwy. Follow that through town, make a left of Cheam Ave and quickly turn right back onto Agassiz Rosedale Hwy. Turn left onto Highway 7 westbound. Stay on this for about 15km where you will take a right onto Morris Valley Rd, just past the Sasquatch Inn. At the first intersection turn left onto Chehalis FSR. The parking lot will be on your left just past the 4km sign. From Langley: Take Highway 1 eastbound and take exit 92 onto Sumas Way towards Mission. Follow that through Abbotsford and make a right onto Highway 11. After you cross the Mission bridge take the exit on your right towards Agassiz. You'll make a quick zig-zag after about 1km, left onto Horne St, right onto Murray, then right again onto Highway 7. Follow it east for about 30km where you will take a left onto Morris Valley Rd, just before the Sasquatch Inn. At the first intersection turn left onto Chehalis FSR. The parking lot will be on your left just past the 4km sign.
