Hidden in the forest is this beautiful densely packed boulder field. The rock in this area ranges from featureless slabs of granite to highly featured overhangs. There is also a high concentration of crack/offwidth problems for your jamming pleasure. Landings are split 50/50 with many being flat and easily protectable, but higher up the hillside you'll find more pads and spotters to be beneficial. This area gets shade most of the day, which is nice on warmer days, but in the shoulder seasons it can take a few days to dry out.

Take exit 165 (Flood Hope rd) and head to the south side of the highway. Take a left at the unnamed road, almost at the end there is a pull out on the right. This pull out is the last one before the "trailer park" at the end. Park here, you'll see a trail heading into the forest across the often dry creek bed.
