Joshua Tree National Park is an other-wordly climbing area in the Southern California encompassing parts of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts. Complete with over 10,000 roped climbs and over 2,000 boulder problems, you'll stay busy here. It's a Winter paradise, with fair weather and lots of sun during the cold months. The prime season runs from October to April, and even May, with a month or so on either end being a bit warm.

As with all major National Parks, day passes and yearly passes are sold at any park entrance. Fees are $30 per vehicle or $55 for an Annual Pass. Camping at the park is available at Hidden Valley, Ryan, Sheep's Pass, Jumbo Rocks, and Belle campgrounds.
