The northern sectors include everything at Needle Peak proper that is located off the north end of the peak southward to a four wheel drive road that divides the peak's northern and central zones. The four wheel drive is very rough as it ascends the first steep hill and should not be taken without off-road experience. Easy parking for normal vehicles provides good, short walking approaches.
