Silver Spur is the most northerly outcrop of boulders in the Needle Peak area but is not on the main peak. It is located approximately a mile north of from Needle Peak proper and is a small mountain of rock all to it's own. Poor roads require high clearance to drive in along the winding two-track. There are three small zones within the sector currently developed.

Access is via the main dirt road that circles northward around Needle Peak's front side (west side), then takes a rough two-track along a fence line and the BLM property boundary before wandering way out eastward... Show more

From the Main parking, walk north-ish into the heap of boulders/walls.
