Some boulders and cliffbands are used by the park to demonstrate primitive shelters, not just for climbing, therefore reduced chalk use is highly recommended. Do not slap chalk onto the rock. Being good stewards and maintaining a healthy relationship with other users and with the park rangers should be a high priority for any visiting climber.
Jump up to the diving board and traverse right along the crimp seam, staying below the jug line above. Top out when the seam ends and the face turns vertical.
