Some boulders and cliffbands are used by the park to demonstrate primitive shelters, not just for climbing, therefore reduced chalk use is highly recommended. Do not slap chalk onto the rock. Being good stewards and maintaining a healthy relationship with other users and with the park rangers should be a high priority for any visiting climber.
Classic crimpin’ and throwin’ on this quality bloc. Featuring a lowball start, but powerful movement and a cool sidepull flake. Lay down start with your right hand on a good crimp slot and left hand beside it. Head straight up. Shorter climbers might consider the crux move to be a good challenge and a big stretch.
