This “left” variation is actually the original version of Fire in the Sky. The local community instead adopted a direct variation as Fire in the Sky and no one was the wiser until the first ascensionist, Zach West, published the FA footage to Youtube in 2021. Admittedly, Zach says this version was “very contrived and stupid” and seems fine with either variation. From a sloper loaf, climb through crimps staying below the lip and following the left angling rails to the left corner of the block. Top out on the left corner riding the slab up for a glorious 30ft top out.
