Some boulders and cliffbands are used by the park to demonstrate primitive shelters, not just for climbing, therefore reduced chalk use is highly recommended. Do not slap chalk onto the rock. Being good stewards and maintaining a healthy relationship with other users and with the park rangers should be a high priority for any visiting climber.
Featuring shapely crimps, this line has tempted local crushers lately. Start matched in a good jug at chest level, move to a very comfortable crimp slot and link a BIG reach into small crimps under the roof. Finish the sequence with either Commando problem. While it might take a taller climber or very strong shoulders to put this one down, it’s a worthy test piece with solid rock quality.
