An obnoxious tree has slowly been leaning over and intruding on this excellent arete climb, making it impossible to climb without heavy dabbing or hand jamming against the tree. Wait for another few decades or for a mighty storm to knock the tree over. Then feel free to start on the sloping pocket pair on the right side of the arete and flow up the arete using holds on both sides, except for the flat jug on the right side at the base of the thin crack.
