The left side of the bluff also hosts an immaculate wall of overhanging granodiorite that now sports 2 boulder problems. Higher on Mt Doug’s west face there is an overhanging handcrack that was climbed by legendary west coast climber Greg Foweraker in the 80’s though the first ascent may have been done a decade earlier by the long defunct University of Victoria Rock Scaling Club. It likely hasn't seen an ascent in decades, and is quite short but might be a cool challenge for a decent trad climber. At the top of Mt Doug, north of the main summit lookout there are also some small bluffs that have likely been bouldered by a handful of people for the last 50 years.

5 stars except I got a ginormous flapper on the pogo move. It’s an incut bucket beware. Wouldn’t recommend if a climbing trip is in your near future.

What a boulder problem! Perfect holds. Tensiony moves on a sweet crimp and mini pinch. Big slaps to an immaculate sloper rail, and a massive toss to the biggest jug on planet earth. What an absolute gem. No clue on the grade. V-Incredible.

Super fun climb. Long move off a techy heel. The sloper rail is such an immaculate hold. No clue on the grade.
