As anyone who has spent time at the Sooke Potholes knows, the Sooke River in that area is littered with rock. I had always been curious about bouldering potential in the Sooke River, and had heard of some deep water soloing in the river but had never put a solid amount of effort into searching for it. The main chasm area is a popular cliff jumping spot, and the lines are so obvious that I have to assume people have been climbing them for years, however I would like to recognize those who brought them to my attention so I have included first known ascents for a couple lines. If you are aware of someone having done the lines earlier than the dates listed here let me know and I would love to correct the record. Some of the “Projects” have perhaps been done before, but who knows with an area that sees this much traffic, again let me know if I am in error.
