From either of the old Castle Rock parking lots, walk down the Saratoga Gap Trail toward Castle Rock Falls for 0.6 miles, passing the turnoff for Goat Rock. There is an observation platform at the top of the falls. Take a moment. Enjoy the view. When you’re ready, take a small climber’s trail across the stream and up the hill.
