From Castle Rock, continue along the Castle Rock Trail to the west for 1/4 mile. Take the first intersecting trail to the left. It branches off a few times, but as long as you stay on the largest trail, you’ll end up in the right place. If you’re coming from the old parking lot, walk downhill on the Saratoga Gap Trail and make a left on the Castle Rock Trail in 600 feet. Follow it uphill for 1,000 feet, then make a right on the first intersecting trail. Again, although it branches off, stay on the main trail and you’ll find the rocks.
Explore Castle Rock State Park from all levels with KAYA PRO. Drill down to the area, subarea, boulder and climb levels. Get approach information for each, and a variety of beta.
