The Wash is a located directly across Highway 57 from New Joe’s and is a great place to avoid crowds since the 15-20 minute hike keeps most folks away. Stop at Entrance Exam V8 to get your squeeze on and get a little dust on those Sandy Cheeks V4 a bit further up the wash. Follow the wash all the way out to check out Tufa King V7.

Walk about 0.2 miles up the road and you’ll find the well marked trail down to the left heading directly up the obvious wash. Follow the cairns, staying primarily in the bottom of the wash itself the whole way back. You'll see the first boulder, Entrance, about a quarter mile in on the trail.
