Some boulders and cliffbands are used by the park to demonstrate primitive shelters, not just for climbing, therefore reduced chalk use is highly recommended. Do not slap chalk onto the rock. Being good stewards and maintaining a healthy relationship with other users and with the park rangers should be a high priority for any visiting climber.
Stand start with jugs at head height under the roof. Surpass a reachy crux sequence on the steep roof to gain the lip.
