The North end of Stoney Point is home to many slot canyons. While they mainly host sport routes, they are also home to some of Stoney's classic traverses like Mozart's VB, Sculpture's V2, and Maggie's V1. Most popular of all is the long traverse under a large roof, Hot Tuna V5. These lines also tend to be in the shade most, if not all day, and are cooler than most spots to the South. For the same reasons these areas may be wet and unclimbable for longer periods after the park receives some rain.

These canyons are easiest approached by parking further North on Topanga Canyon Blvd near the traffic light. A trail at the end of the pavement leads straight to Hot Tuna and the canyons beyond.
