Approaching this area from the North end of Topanga Canyon Blvd near the traffic light is the quickest way there. Follow hiking trails along the base of the North canyons until you reach an abundance of boulders. Approaching from the East is done by hiking uphill from Split Rock to the Back Wall and along it until you reach the boulders.
