A handful of boulders lie downhill of the canyons on the North side. These blocs see very few climbers but offer plenty of good movement for those looking to get away from the beaten path. Chouinard's Hole offers a novelty experience as you mantle into a large scoop and sit to take in the lovely view of Topanga Canyon traffic. For those looking to get off the deck a bit can take their shot at Yabo Arete V7 on the Block Head boulder. While you wander this area you are likely to witness the train pass at close proximity under a tunnel next to the Carousel boulder.

The North boulders are best approached from Topanga Canyon Blvd near the traffic light. There is a large trail/wash that passes by all the sizable blocks. This area is also easily accessed by walking downhill from the Canyons or NorthEast areas.
