The East boulders host a good variety of climbs, from technical slabs to powerful overhanging lines. A good place to get away from the crowds of Boulder 1 and Turlock. One of Stoney's classic test pieces, Powerglide V6, soaks up the sun just off the main trail awaiting a worthy challenger. A prominent boulder above is home to the classic Johnson Arete V4, Darkside of the Moon V6, and the tall and rarely repeated Johnson Problem V7. At the top of the slope sits the most popular of all the traverses in the area, Spiral Traverse V3.

A short walk on the main trail from Turlock and the B1 boulder gets you to these blocks on the East side. A few of the boulders are right off the trail, while others lie up the hill. This area can also be reached from the North by hiking downhill from the large Back Wall.
