A vast river valley full of dense forests, tranquil streams, open talus and hidden behemoth boulders. Old mining era trinkets provide insights into a bygone era when these forests were first explored; the abandoned road grade from this era is perhaps the main reason any of these wondrous boulders were ever found in the first place. Rock quality is top-tier, movement is sublime and the setting is indescribably beautiful.

Turn southeast off of state Highway 2 onto the Old Cascade Highway just west of the small town of Skykomish. Look for signage indicating the Money Creek Campground for this turnoff. Follow the Old Cascade Highway past the campground and over the railroad tracks and continue for just a minute or so. Just before the washed out bridge and 'Road Closed' signs you'll turn right onto Miller River Road which will take you deep into the river valley and provide access to all the area and subarea parking and approaches.
Explore Miller River from all levels with KAYA PRO. Drill down to the area, subarea, boulder and climb levels. Get approach information for each, and a variety of beta.
