One of the greater Skykomish Valley's most scenic areas; the Paradise Boulders do a swell job of living up to their name. The talus of the Paradise Boulders is nestled on the western side of the Miller River's East Fork and were first explored for bouldering by local gurus Jesse Evans and Pablo Zuleta in 2014. Like all of the areas in the Miller River basin, the rock quality is top notch. The climbs span the grades as well as the styles and the exposure of the talus means the rock dries quicker than many other subareas in the vicinity. The exposure does mean it can get quite hot in mid-summer but you can always cool down with a dip in the river or check out the stellar 'shallow-water-solo' Wet & Unprotected. Drive 6.5 miles up the Miller River Road and park on the right hand side in a small gravel pullout. Follow a climbers trail down the steep hillside for a few minutes. You'll first reach a small side creek that can generally be easily hopped or waded across. You'll end up on a small spit of land within the larger river drainage. Walk up river another minute till you can make another river crossing just upstream of the now visible Wet & Unprotected Boulder. ***A washout of the Miller River Road shortly after the Morpheus Area has forced a longer approach. Walking down the road from the furthest Road Closure markings is now mandatory; though all the same coordinates and directions apply.***
