Junkie Boulders have been around since the 90's, and while the area enjoys cooler temps and all day shade, it is lesser known and tends to be less crowded. With good moderate slabs, and well liked intermediates like 'Junkie Arete', and several notable intermediate and advanced lines on the Batman Boulder, along with elite new lines like 'Pain and Ankle' in the talus, it's worthy area to spend some time. There is still plenty of project potential in the talus as well as a few undone lines on the 'Trail of Fears' Boulder by the trail.
